The Sims 4 - Can't switch back to 64 bit, help!
I recently bought a new laptop and downloaded The Sims 4 and all the packs that I had purchased. It worked perfectly fine for two weeks, until I got an error message asking me to download the sims legacy edition. I did so, but I don't like how all my families are now gone, I no longer have access to the gallery and packs that I had paid for are now unplayable.
I found directions which told me to select game properties and press the drop down "When launching this game..." and select "The Sims 4 64 Bit". However the only options available to me were to select the language and command line arguments. I would really like to go back to how I was playing the game, I don't like that I was forced to switch to 32 bit when the game worked perfectly on a brand new laptop!
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
There does not seem to be anything that should prevent you from running the standard 64bit version. You do have a couple bluescreen which should be looked at. A Windows support group can likely help with that.
That you don't have the option to change to 64bit is likely a problem with Origins cache. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
