I got the sims 4 two days ago. I was able to play for a few hours went to bed, and woke up only to find out my sims 4 wouldnt work anymore! I tried rebooting, Fixing the game via Origin, and finally I uninstalled/installed and nothing.. my game would say "the sims 4 has stopped working" during the loading screen with the diamond picture... EA really helped me out . after sitting in the chat for a few hours with multiple EA techs and they helped me narrow down my problems . I either think it was my update files being corrupted or a corrupt save file but this worked for me. all I had to do was go to C:\Users\My name\Documents\Electronic Arts and delete the whole the sims 4 folder. After that I rebooted and my sims 4 was running perfectly. I hope this works for you guys!
- Delete the whole folder? That makes me very nervous lol. Won't have to reinstall?
Can't believe it's crashing already!
If only they'd worked on making the game more reliable as much as they have concentrated on emotions.
