Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 Unable to Start, Already Running

I am unable to launch Sims4.
I get a message saying that the game is already running, however this is not the case.

I have attempted 4 times to repair the game, along with..

clearing the cache

uninstall and re-install of the game

Did the repair game process 4 times.

However this continues to be an ongoing issue. I am not running the game on other platforms or devices at the same time, so I am unable to troubleshoot this issue.

I have also checked Task Manager, and Sims 4 is not running in the background either.
I have also seen many people on social media are having this same issue.
