The Sims 4 keeps crashing after 30 minutes of gameplay.
I have recently updated my graphics driver Intel Iris Xe and ever since I did that, my screen goes white; and then it closes. I have got rid of my mods, it still happens, started a new save, it still happens. I have also deleted my cache and it still crashes.
@PINGISEVERYWHERE Thanks. I don't see anything missing, just one system driver that's newer than what HP offers but is probably perfectly fine considering it's from Intel. Still, it's best to do a clean uninstall and reinstall of both the graphics and audio drivers. Download the newer driver from each of the Audio and Graphics categories, then take your computer offline. Here's how to clean-uninstall and reinstall the graphics driver:
Restart your computer, but don't go back online yet. Hit Windows key-X, select the Device Manager, expand the Audio tab, click the Realtek High-Definition Audio driver, and click the Uninstall button. Then restart your computer again and install the audio driver you downloaded. Restart one more time and go back online.
The reason it's important to stay offline the entire time is that otherwise, Windows might decide to download what it thinks is the appropriate driver rather than the one you want to use.
If you see the same issue in Sims 4 after reinstalling both drivers, please post a new dxdiag.
