The Sims 4 launches but then freezes and stops responding

@rxAcez Try disabling any overlays you have running: Steam, Discord, etc. Disable Origin in-game too: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.
If that doesn't help, please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then see whether the game loads. Your saves and other content will be in the folder you moved, intact but temporarily not read by the game. Don't add anything back yet; the point is to see whether you can play in a clean folder with no content at all.
If that doesn't help either, please force the game to launch in windowed mode: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Application Settings > Advanced Launch Options, write -w (with the hyphen) in the command line box, and save.
