I have to repair my game every other day that I play it. This takes forever and I have to babysit the process because even after clearing the cache and restarting, it almost always gets caught in a loop updating. This has been my experience with the game for over a year now. I don't think it's my antivirus as none of the programs are triggering it and I have all of the programs in 'exceptions.' I have no idea why it needs constant repairing. i have no mods and the game never crashed when i play it. i've deleted save files and this doesnt help.
If anyone has experienced and resolved this please help because it's been over a year now and nothing i try has worked.
@jsalloumlb Please list the location where your game is installed, as described in my previous post.
- 8 months ago@puzzlezaddict I believe C drive. Thanks for your help. I have an update. I went to add/remove programs and pressed uninstall, for the EA app. This will activate the uninstall menu and it will have only 2 option: uninstall and repair. I clicked repair and this seemed to do the trick. Now, I no longer need to repair the game every other day…. Something about the app was broken and causing the game to break. Hope this helps anyone with similar issues.
