I have updated The Sims 4 today and now the game will not work. It will start up, get to The Sims 4 logo page. It will stay where for about 30 seconds. Then in minimizes itself. When I open it back up all I get is a white screen. How can I fix this?

Do you have any Mods or CC? If so move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

I'm having the same issue I tried to repair and delete removing the folders but nothing even erasing every thing from my laptop to start fresh
