The Sims 4 Steam has no Steam Overlay and disabling Origin In-Game issue.

I have The Sims 4 on Steam and I play through it. I am able to run the game through Steam, while Origin launcher is active in background. The game launches and runs fine, however, the Steam Overlay...

I'm having this issue as well. I've noticed that when I'm launching The Sims 4 from Steam, it shows me playing it for a split second before going away and just saying "Online" instead in the friends list. The game launches fine, but Steam seems to be having trouble detecting the game.
