@FreeCake4Life Please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and restart your computer before reinstalling it. Let me know whether the App loads properly as well as whether Sims 4 works. Please continue to test with no mods or custom content present, at least for now.
I did this, and the game opened, HOWEVER, when I tried to play a household it just jumped me back to the map screen. I tried to open my game again and the original problems showed up again.

@FreeCake4Life Is the EA App currently working?
Additionally, does the game work if you move the Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop? This would remove, but not delete, your saves and other user data, which is part of the point of this test. Let me know how it goes.

I wish I could, but now the EA app is not opening at all. I am starting to think this is an EA app problem....

@FreeCake4Life Uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), restart your computer, reinstall the App, and see whether it opens properly. If it does, try again to play Sims 4. If the game won't load, move the user folder, as described.
