The Sims 4 won't open (Windows 11) (Laptop)

Hello

Yesterday I wanted to play The Sims 4 but the game was starting and starting but it won't open. I pulled out "Mods" folder, but it didn't help. I tried to install EA app again but there was the same situation. My EA account is linked with EpicGames account. I don't know what else I can do. I hope that someone can help me. If you need more informations to help me, I'll try to get it.

Thanks from advance, Bella

  • Hey Bella, what did you do to get it to work because I’ve tried mostly everything and I’m lost. So help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

@Brinx_Massacare  As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
