The Sims 4 wont save on PC

I've recently download Sims 4 onto my PC.  I can't save the game though and no idea what to do next. I have opened the game from Sims folder on my desktop and through Origins but doesn't make a dif...

    The build button only is available when you have placed your created household in the world.

    When you have finished creating your household in CAS (Create a Sim) click the button in the lower right to exit CAS saving your household to your library and start playing.

You need to login to Origin with the account you have the game on then it will appear in your Game library.

    Thanks.

    I am logged into Origin but when I've downloaded the game it's on my desktop and under library in Origin it's not there.  It says I have downloaded it but I can't open it and can't reinstall it in Origin as it says I've used the code already?

      I've managed to get the game back in origin but there is still no save/save as option?

        And you did start a game? There is no Save/Save As from the main menu.
