The sims is already running
I have tried everything from clearing my cache to deleting the game, everything I try to open the sims it’s says that the game is already running and to go ahead and start playing

Just a thought but have you tried to open Task Manager? If any mention of ea/sims then try stopping it? If you have then sorry out of ideas. Hopefully someone who has had this happen will know.
