This relationship has been reset?

I had made a sim that is the father of 4 kids of which I had also made myself. When I try to add a mother of the kids (the wife of the father), I edit the household relationships for her and an exclamation point in a triangle pops up and says "this relationship has been reset". I make the woman and the man husband and wife, but the woman's relationship to the kids is either brother/sister or roommate. How do I get it so that the kids are the woman's son/daughter?

Never mind! I figured out how to fix it. I had to save the teens and kids to the gallery and then delete them from my household. I then created the wife and then added the teens and kids back into the household. The relationship options worked then. Thanks though!

  • Hi @adr_409

is this a family you newly created in CAS or are you trying to edit an existing family ?

What age groups do they have ? Are they still toddlers/children/teens ?

Also are you using any custom content or mods in your game ?

2 are teens and 2 are children.

No, I am not using any custom content or mods in the game.

    Hope this helps!

    Hm.

Can you try yet another family to see if you get the same issue ?

    Just for testing purposes.

I tried making a father for one of EA's families that didn't come with a father and the correct relationship to the kids worked for that.
