Thx crin, I´ve read that post in the official forum too. As I understand now, in Sims 4, Sims released for adoption should been culled from the game and it´s not intended that they show up in the adoption window. There could be problems if a mod like mcc stops culling, but in my game it happens too without any mod.

The two pets couldn´t be found anywhere, only with SimsInfo as corrupted and in the adoption window.

More tests, always after releasing the pet for adoption:

With mods (mcc, Sims 4 culling is ON) SimsInfo shows same ID, corrupted, causes problems with adoption service in another household

Without mods (mcc) SimsInfo shows me no window, on another household, pet is in adoption window, causes problems but there SimsInfo show me a different ID, not corrupted

changeing back to the household which releases the pet, SimsInfo show me a third ID, no corruption and adoption works again.

Not sure if LittleMsSam mod Anti Fear Training could cause this problem, this is the only one I use related to pets!

It´s really wired!

for me it still works the same way it did from start. A pet with the same name appears in the adoption panel and I can adopt it but it's not the same animal that I gave up for adoption


Could you try on a fresh, mod free game ?

        Sry, need to change again. Before I´ve tested it in the same household. Release the pet for adoption and after a few sim hours adopt it again and this way it worked, in another household it doesn´t, even without mods and cleared cache.

        Did the following, release a pet for adoption, go to manage worlds, change to another household and adopt this pet, the adoption service stays around, knocks at the door and my Sims can talk to him, but he didn´t release the pet from the basket he normal does.

        Really sry for the confusion ;(
