Toddler Spawn Glitch

I have absolutely no idea how to fix this huge glitch. I have twin toddlers. One toddler was in the highchair eating, and the other one was on the bed reading a book. I saved the game and exited. When I returned, the one that was in the high chair, was sitting on the couch. The one that was reading in bed, spawned outside of the apartment walls, into the elevator area! (Picture attached)Which means he is permanently stuck in that room. I cannot get him out, and I cannot break down the walls, because you can't build/bulldoze anything that is not inside your apartment (thanks a lot EA) and he cant walk out of there on his own because there is no door, and I can't even build him one! I have also tried resetting him, nothing is working. If anyone has any idea what to do, please help. If I can't get him out, he's going to die. So beyond frustrated right now with this. I am not sure why, like all the other sims, when you save and exit the toddlers don't stay where you last left them. Why do they have to spawn some where completely different omg. ☹️

    Try moving the whole family out and back in via manage world

    Is this on a vanilla game ?

    I had the exact same problem. Vanilla game. Same apartment. Toddler beds placed in the same place.

    I have 4 toddlers. The first born is a single, the other 3 are triplets. It's a challenge to keep them all happy and by the time I get them all to sleep I usually save and turn off the game because I need a break. Unfortunately it seems I can't do that anymore. Every time I load the game again they are all awake and angry, usually standing to one side of their beds. The toddler currently stuck in with the elevator shaft (see screen capture) has been stuck there multiple times.

    I've found traveling somewhere like the park with the child gets them unstuck and when you travel back to the apartment they are in the usual place in front of the elevator and free. This is a bit easier than moving them out and back in but is only a temporary solution. Can anyone clarify for me if moving them out and back in permanently stops the "sleep teleporting" issue or not?

    It gets them unstuck

    If it prevents them from getting stuck further, I don't know

    I found some time to test it and the bug/glitch still happens even if you move out and back in. Must be something with the toddlers themselves or them and that apartment.

    Is there anywhere further to report this problem or is this sufficient?

    For now I'm just going to move the bed so they can't get stuck. It's still a pain though because it wakes up all the sleeping toddlers.

    Try enabling cheats (Ctrl+Shift+C, then 'testingcheats on') and teleporting the child out?
