Transfer DLC from EA app to Steam

I'm trying to transfer my dlc from EA app to steam but It's not recongizing my dlc from EA. I can't play sims 4 on EA app anymore because I have the standard version. Im really frustarted and don't wanna lose my progress on the sims 4. If anyone knows how to fix this i'd appreciate the help 🙂

  • erweg82zk66s  The issue is that Steam will never recognize DLC you've bought through the EA App.  You can use both together, at least in theory—the EA App could install the packs you own there into the Steam version of the game, and everything would load together.  In practice though, this appears not to work in Steam OS at least some of the time.

As a practical matter, is there a reason you want to launch the game through Steam other than simple convenience?  I ask because it might not be possible to work around the Steam OS limitation at this time, or if it is, it might take more work than it's worth.  You can of course try installing only your packs through the EA App, after you've downloaded the base game through Steam; just don't count on it working.

Hi I just installed the game through steam and all work kinda well like I have all my saves that I had with EA app as well as all my mods but the DLC that I have on EA app (all the one I bought except the last one) are not loaded in the game even though it knows that I posses the DLC in my library it is just not loaded in my game and I dont know what to do to get them on my game now.
