Transferring sims 4 DLC from ea app for mac to steam for steamdeck
Just as the title says, i’m trying to transfer my DLC from my mac so I can play on my steam deck without spending hundreds of dollars on packs i already own
@cassi0peia10_ You can't transfer your owned content to Steam, as in, Steam won't recognize you own it. However, on a Windows PC, there's a way around this: install the base game from Steam, then download your DLC (but not a second copy of the base game) through the EA App.
The problem here is, I don't know whether you can use the EA App as normal in Steam OS. If you can open it, or have it running in the background, you can probably tell it to install your DLC, but it doesn't officially support Linux and therefore may not cooperate.
