Trouble with new update

Hi! I'm having trouble with the new update that came with the 25th anniversary. The update button popped up on my EA app on the 5th so I obviously pressed it. It seemed like it updated but when I opened it the game the next day it actually wasn't updated. I know this as my mods weren't disabled when I opened it and none of the new objects are showing up.

I've tied restarting my PC, clearing cache, repairing, logging out of the app, and restarting the app. Does anyone have anymore ideas to fix this? Thank you!

  • MCHawker1  The update was actually a Sims Delivery, and as such, it wouldn't disable your mods.  So the only problem is that the content doesn't appear.

Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete the content folder.  Load the game again, and if the SDX doesn't start on its own, open Options > Game Options > Sims Delivery and click the button to check for updates.  Either way, give it a couple minutes to download, then quit and reload.
