Trying to download TS4 - Error Message: "Insufficient drive space available..."

Question

I just bought a brand new laptop (HP Stream 14-CB163WM), but I can't download The Sims 4, nor the Legacy Version at all! When I hit download and select English in Origin, I get the message:&nbsp;

"Insufficient drive space available. Either free up X amount GB of space or select a different location.".

I've tried changing the file location, but it doesn't help. It just says the same thing. I've been able to download other games no problem since I ran into this, including the CAS demo and Minecraft. I should have enough space. Even de-selecting my game packs doesn't help (no mods or cc used).&nbsp; I'm completely stumped. I also don't understand tech speak that well, and large chunks of text tend to get jumbled in my mind.

A step-by-step process would be most helpful. If there are some other things you need to know, I'll give you what's needed. Thanks in advance.&nbsp;

Okay, I was running into browser problems, so I restarted my computer. Now TS4 is repairing itself. I don't know why, but if it means I get to play, that's good enough for me.

@MorningDove421&nbsp;Sorry but your laptop is well below minimum requirements for the game and you have only 2GB free space where.the game requires at least 15GB free. Even if you could install it you would not be able to run it.

@jpkarlsen Well, that sucks. But, what does the 32 GB eMMC storage mean? Also, could I run the game from an external hard drive?
