You talk about a dropdown so I assume you mean on the EA Support site. Try using another browser that might help also chat is not available in all countries If you are not from the US try specifying that regardless. EA Support do not have an email address you can contact them on you must use the forms on their site.
PS. it is easy to judge some ones level of knowledge on a subject when they post multiple misconceptions on the subject. Like here you post an image where you have removed a device key probably because you think it can be misused for something. It can't, it is to uniquely identify that device on that computer. It can for example be used by DRM to see if you have the rights to play a film you bought on that device. Nobody else can use it for anything.

i dont think They should keep that Bad Practice of Region Based Stuff , because internet " Today " is not what it was 20 years ago and the only issue with the "Time zones" is the "Daylight Savings" which "The Sun" illuminate only Half of planet " Earth " and the dark side is Sleeping while the illuminated is working !
if you ask me "Region" Functions are "Deprecated" and has to be removed in future.
before you mentioned it i remmembered i had the same issue long time ago , " Safari " didnt opened an " HTML Input " that was working fine on "Gecko" & "Chromium" Cores.
