Unable to connect to EA servers for Sims 4 Deluxe

Hello all! I recently downloaded the Sims 4 Deluxe through Origin and it installed perfectly fine, up until I clicked "play" and it told me that I am unable to connect to the EA servers to activate ...

I also had the Sims 4 installed, then when i had to uninstall it(I acidentally made all of the characters in my town age up, making them all elders) It said the same thing. Installation went fine, but the updates must have screwed it up. It's going around the message boards that this isn't only a SIms 4 problem.
