Unable to connect to EA servers to activate the Sims 4

I receive this message "We are unable to connect to EA servers to activte the sims 4 limited edition on this computer using your account. Please try again later".

I don't know what to do. Any help please?

    Thank you for the reports, this issue is under investigation. 
     

    Edit: We're seeing reports that users are able to activate as normal now. Please try to access your games again.

    what if you have a mac and physically don't have IE installed on your computer???

    Has anybody who hasn't been able to validate , been able to validate?

    Been having this problem since 3:00am Eastern Standard time.

    Same problem here, it said it can't connect to Ea server and does not allow me to play the game.... I have tried to add the origin.com website to trusted website, but it did not work.

    Can anyone one solve it?

    I just submitted a request and the support phoned me back saying that they are still working on resolving the issue. The support mentioned he did not want to create an expectation, but I can try again in one hour or so.

    I contacted EA using the live chat and a woman told me that it was an issue with their server that they are trying to fix, she said it could take 24 hours to fix 😞
