Unable to eat, do Homework, or take pregnancy tests

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.72.28.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? discover university, get famous, seasons, cats & dogs, get to work, parenthood, dine out, outdoor retreat, moschino, toddler, spooky, cool kitchen
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? when the sims try to do homework, eat, or take a pregnancy test, even when trying to give a toddler a bath
What happens when the bug occurs? i’ll have them do homework and the action is immediately cancelled and they do a t pose them go back to normal. i’ll have them take a pregnancy test and they’ll urinate but then glitch away from the toilet and i can no longer click take a pregnancy test. they’ll go to the fridge, open it, grab food, then drop it and will glitch and no longer pick it up
What do you expect to see? i expect to the the homework being done and completed with a notification as well as the pregnancy test and for the sims to be able to grab the plate of food and eat it

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. it was after the latest update with bunk beds

This all began to happen after the latest update was made in March of 2021.

    From what you have said, this sounds like a mod issue.  Probably a mod that got outdated by something in the new patch.  A lot of mods did get broken this time.  Since you use mods and cc, I suggest you check to see if any of your mods have been updated since the patch.

    A sure way to check if a mod is causing the problem is to start a new game with no mods or cc.  Easiest way to do that is just move your "The Sims 4" folder to your desktop or another place out side of the Electronic Arts folder.  Start the game and it will create a new "The Sims 4" folder that is clean. Create a new sim or family, put them on a lot and try to do some of the things that have been causing them to reset to the T-pose in your current save.  If they don't reset when you do that, then it's one of your mods and you will need to find the one causing the problem.
