Unable to get OneDrive to use my files with Sims 4

I have a question.   I have looked up on Google how to move files. If I move the saves from the One Drive folder on my PC to the Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4>Saves folder on my PC, will they be in my game (that folder is empty right now and my saves are still not in the game)?  

I followed your instructions and this is what occurred:

1. I could not see the Sims 4 user folder in Documents>Electronic Arts, so I went to the "Restoring missing saves" section of the first post of the indicated thread.
2.  The option to "restore" did not appear in the options when I right-clicked on the listed files.
3.  I went to the next section to have One Drive to continue to sync my files.  One Drive then downloaded my saves from the cloud to my PC to the One Drive folder under Saves.
