Unable to install Home Chef Hustle After Purchase

I am having this issue for a week now, cannot download since purchase, nothing happening when I choose download button, please help!

Yes, according to EA's website. However, the total was charged and fully processed by my credit card company right when I purchased. There has been no issue on my bank's end and they have given the money to EA.

Every day, I try to install it just to see if something changed. I just now did this and it miraculously installed. It seems to be working. 

I'm still extremely unhappy with the way EA treated me and handled this situation and will never purchase another EA game. Real customer service is unattainable and trying to reach anybody about real issues is impossible. I'm also tired of being ripped off by the high prices of DLC while EA gatekeeps content to make money down the road. 

I, along with many other formerly-committed Sims players (since Sims 1 over here), are fed up and ready to support the competition. The game is no longer what we know and love and EA clearly does not care because they will have plenty of average, undiscerning consumers eating it up without question. They don't care about creating a game, they care about the bottom line and that is all. 

For every DLC that EA releases from this point forward, I will not purchase but I will take that dollar amount and donate it to both games currently in production by the competition. I'm done with EA. 

Three months, everyone. THREE MONTHS of issues before I could actually use what I paid for. 

I am having a similar issue I brought it and it said its downloaded but when I try to use it in game. It says there nothing there. 

I just downloaded the home chef pack and it’s not showing up in my game when I play. Very frustrating 

And I’m still not getting invited to parties from the high school game when EA said it was fixed!

Same here I have a receipt, it shows as downloaded items not available in the game.

Redownloading Origin was the only way I was able to fix the issue before with HSY and Growing Together.  Now, I cannot download Origin. I'm very disappointed

I am having the same issue except I redeemed a code and instead of downloading it took me to the purchase page. In game it says it needs to be downloaded to be used and is showing that I own it, but the store does not acknowledge this. Anyone find a work around?
