It still doesn't work. ☹️
@KpoppyJ Then you'll need to get permission to change the Controlled Folder Access settings. Now that you've addressed the other potential issues, there's not much else that could be causing this issue.

How can I change the permission to it?

@KpoppyJ You said that when you tried to change Controlled Folder Access settings, you got a popup that your IT admin had limited your access. So go to whoever that is and ask them.
- 6 years ago@puzzlezaddict okay so, this is my personal pc. Who would that "IT" be?

@KpoppyJ When I suggested you change the Controlled Folder Access settings, you said you got a message that "Your IT administrator had limited access to some areas." I don't know what that would mean for your setup, unless you're not using your Windows admin account.
- 6 years ago@puzzlezaddict I'll try to fix this pop up somehow. Thank you for helping!

@KpoppyJ Some of the solutions for the Origin not running message are the same as for your earlier error: set an exception (this time for Origin.exe) in Controlled Folder Access, and run Origin as an admin. Here are a few others:

Let me know if any of them helps or changes the error you get.
- 6 years ago@puzzlezaddict I went back
to having the same pop up of error to start up
