Unable to start Sims 4 Error

I have now un-installed and re-installed both Origin and SIMS 4 several times, to no avail.  I have never had problems like this with anything before, and I have had 22 years in the IT world!

I click Play and it just hangs there.

What a waste of money and time this product is, never has this problem with SIMS 3.

Surely someone must know something please (on knees begging!)

I ran DxDiag, all seemed ok but when I save the file as a.txt it is blank?

- What OS are you running Sims 4 on? (Window 7, 8, 10? Mac O/S?)

To me it's sounding like a permissions issue with Origin communicating with Sims 4. If you're using Windows, can you try running Origin as a Windows Administrator? (Right-Click Origin, select Run as Administrator.)

If that doesn't work, try a whole new Windows Administrator user.

I've seen symptoms like this before and Windows User tended to be the issue, not only for Origin, but a lot of my other games too.
