Unable to to place anything on kitchen counters

When I'm building a kitchen in my sims house or apartment I can't place anything not even a sink, microwave or any other little things on my kitchen counters it's been like that for a while now it's come to the point I can't even put a sink in?????

    Are those counters that came with the game or custom content ?

    Are you using moveObjects ?

    Any mods in your game ?

    Well all I have done is like brought the sims and all my other stuff packs and expansions and played then how they come
