Unable to work on presentation - The board is the wrong one for the class

This issue is not fixed. I just ran into it today, and my game is patched fully.  The same is happening to me that other people are describing, no option to work on presentation while in the communic...

@christinal3106 Could you try repairing your game through Origin ? Is this a board you got after or before the patch ?

I repaired my game after I downloaded the patch, but come to think about it, my sim did get the board before the patch.  That probably is the issue.

      Just FYI for any players who come here.  You can't buy a new board but do some studying, and your sim should have no issue getting an A in that class anyway.
