Uninstall Expansion Pack w/out deleting whole game

I recently bought The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs expansion pack however my laptop started freezing up after that. Is there a way to just uninstall the expansion pack without having to get rid of the full game? I have purchased The Toddler set etc and do not want to give that up because I'm not sure if I will ever be able to get it back. Thank you in advance.

    Hi @catiebug157

    there's two ways but both are down at your own risk as they are not supported. C&D is EP04

    1. Disable the expansion. It will still be installed but not show up in the game: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2017/03/disable-single-packs/
    2. Delete the EP folder from your hard drive manually. This will physically remove but there's no guarantees it won't be installed back. Make sure you turn off automatic game updates in Origin. The folders to delete can be found here: programs(x86)\Origin_Games\thesims4 (path may vary depending on your installation) and programs(x86)\Origin_Games\thesims4\delta.
