uninstall packs on EA app

I've used the EA app since it came out and have about 20 DLC on The Sims 4.

After taking a break I decided to play Sims 4 again but just wanted to play the base game, so I thought I'd download the free version on Steam.

It asked me to sign into my EA account (I signed in with same user as has all DLC) and it was no problem, I played with just base game for a few hours.

However, when I quit I realised that in the background the EA app had downloaded all my DLC. Now, when I open Steam game it launched with all DLC.

How do I uninstall the DLC from the EA app? My EA App now shows The Sims 4 as 'standard edition accessed through Steam' and when I click on 'Manage Add-ons' it just shows a list of all the DLC installed, no options to do anything with them.

When I click on Properties in Steam it just shows the base game in the list of DLC.

    @Temaraii  If you don't need the space and are only concerned with which packs are loading in-game, it would probably be easier to disable all your packs, as described here:

    I'm surprised though that the EA App downloaded all your packs considering how many reports we get of the EA App-owned packs not installing when someone switches to Steam.  Perhaps the App has automatic game updates enabled, and disabling that would prevent the packs from downloading again.  I don't have a Steam install though and can't test this properly.

    The other option here would be to use a different EA account, either with or without a linked Steam account.  Since the new account wouldn't own any packs, yours wouldn't load in-game even if they were installed.

    in the ea app go to the drop down and click on help -> app recovery -> clear cache

    this should uninstall all your dlc from the ea app and you can then play from either steam or ea without downloading the dlc, then if you want a specific pack you can redownload the individual one
