Unrecognized Video Card
The game does not recognize my video card. I also do not have the file that most guides for this tells me to edit, GraphicsCards.sgr. I cannot find it anywhere in my files. I've even tried redown...

Gracydatabase Since your game is running, the GraphicsCards.sgr file has to be present. It would be in [install location]\The Sims 4\Game\Bin, here by default for an EA App or Steam install:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
However, you can ignore the unrecognized video card error unless you have other game issues. When a GPU is unrecognized, that simply means the game has to guess which graphics settings to choose by default, but you can change the settings however you want regardless.
