unsupported video card

I've been playing the sims fine for the past 3 years on this computer, but when I opened my sims today it said I had an unsupported video card even though I've been playing the sims fine on this comp...

    @Magicalsimmer07  Somehow your graphics driver was uninstalled, and your computer is now using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, which Sims 4 doesn't support.  So the simple fix would be to reinstall the Nvidia driver.  I can't tell what GPU you have from your dxdiag—it's not showing up at all—but if it's 900-series or newer (so anything released in the last seven or eight years), the newest driver should work:

    However, before running the driver, please see whether your GPU is showing up at all.  Hit Windows key-X, select the Device Manager, expand the Display adapters section, and look for your Nvidia card.  If it's not there, please let me know.
