0588118 Please let me know whether this happens in a new save. You don't need to abandon your old ones; this is just for comparison's sake.
Please also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Finally, let me know how large your existing saves are. They're in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves, and you can tell them apart by modified date.
