I just got the Acer 5 Nitro- AMD Ryzen 5, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650When I first opened The Sims 4 on it, there as a pop-up about the video card but I don't fully remember what it said.But while playing, sometimes I'll go into my house in Live Mode and all the furniture disappears. I can see it all through the window from the outside but as soon as I go inside, it all fades away. Is there anyway I can fix this? If this is a video card issue, what can I do to make sure the game recognizes there is one? I got the laptop specifically for the graphics for The Sims.

@gingerbreadyy Looks like something broke the house. It looks like you as if you don't have access to the house and are visiting instead of living there.Can you try evicting the Sim from the house via map and then rebuy the house (use cheats if you don't have enough money)

@gingerbreadyy Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Basemental mods have been removing furniture, you need to get the newest version

That is the message I received! But when I followed the instructions on the post, I found that my graphics card is recognized. I also don’t have any cc or mods.

This is weird. Should I contact Acer or Nvidia?

@gingerbreadyy Do you have any problems playing other than the furniture ? Does the message still pop up ?

@crinrict Actually yes! Sometimes, the buttons that allows you to change floors and the walls become inaccessible. I click the arrows and the house doesn't change floors and the walls don't change. The house stays the same. Then the arrows for the floors dim and aren't clickable. It's so weird.

I've only received that message once.

I only have one save so far. I did a screen recording so you could see what happens.
When I go inside, the furniture disappears. When I click the arrows to change floors and the icon to change the walls, nothing happens. Additionally, my Sim won't go inside. She'll get to the front door and then turn around and go somewhere else.

Here's how it looks at first, then once I go inside. And I sectioned off the corner in the 3rd photo so you could see the icons not working.
