Video card still not recognized

Hello.  I have been trying to get my Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card to get recognized by the Sims for quite a while. I have referenced multiple articles and forums where I am asked to ...

WvMISKAvW​  A couple notes:

  • The file is called GraphicsCards.sgr , not VideoCards.sgr
  • The OP is not trying to enhance their graphics, just get their GPU recognized
  • They therefore do not need to edit GraphicsRules.sgr at all
  • The GraphicsCards.sgr file does belong in ConfigOverride, which is a folder specifically created by the game itself for the purpose of hosting edited .sgr files


There is no need for the instructions in your first link, since that's not the OP's goal here; and the OP already knows everything in the second link, which also happens to list what was an incorrect file path even when Origin was still the default game launcher.
