@SapphyraSims That's fascinating. Does this still happen if you're playing in a clean user folder? I realize it shouldn't happen at all, but I'm curious. Please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, allowing the game to create a new one the next time it loads. Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can reproduce the issue.
If you do see the same issue, please try playing while your computer is offline, still in a clean user folder. You can sign into Origin and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
I tried all your suggestions but it's still having the same problem. I tried repairing the game in origin library too. Now it's doing this in build mode in all worlds/lots. When I check task manager the ram is taking the most load almost tripling, and I have 16gb of ram. The GPU is also almost doubling in buildmode. Even if I change all the graphics from ultra to low it barely makes much difference either. Both of that is then causing the cpu to overheat. I don't understand though why this is taking up so much memory and graphics when I can run 4k open world games just fine. I'm thinking it's the wedding pack items causing this, like how father winter was causing similar crazy ram issues a long time ago.
