Weird Game Version txt file

Hey everyone, anyone knows why my text file looks like this after last two hotfixes? It was fine with the update up until the 1st hotfix for the store button.

I have: deleted cache, deleted the file and ran the game, then I did all of this again and repaired the game and it is sitll the same 😅 My game is fine (as far as I know lol) it's just the weird txt file all of a sudden.

    @jupkmn  I've merged your post with the master thread for this issue.  It's purely cosmetic in that it has no effect on the game, but if you want to know why it's happening, this thread has an explanation.

    No, it is not. The file always shows the current patch number and have used it many times to copy the version when reporting bugs. Plus all my other friends have normal files, with a version number. And I had the same until two hotfixes ago.

    Just came on here to report the same thing.  I booted my game up for the first time since the most recent e-patch, but now I'm worried about playing if the version number is weird like this.

    Before the patch it was all numbers.
