what graphics do you recommend i use in sims 4

this is my laptop name: ASUS - VivoBook Max X541NA

  • @heavencaldito3  It looks like there are a few different configurations of this laptop, but none of them are capable of much more than low graphics settings.  Still, it wouldn't do any damage to turn up a couple settings to medium and see how things go.  When you raise the settings, the game becomes more demanding to render, which means that performance suffers, and you could notice stuttering, slow responsiveness from sims or menus, and other similar symptoms.  But these aren't harmful to your computer, they're just annoying.

If you raise a couple of settings and are satisfied with the results, go ahead and keep using those settings.  If you're unhappy with performance, lower a setting and see if things improve enough.  Sometimes it takes some experimenting to get the right balance between graphics quality and performance.

For the health of your laptop, make sure it can cool itself properly while you play, which basically means making sure the vents aren't blocked and it's not resting on a soft or warm surface, e.g. a lap or blanket.  Other than that, it should be okay.

@heavencaldito3  The information I saw about your laptop said there was no empty slot or removable RAM module, but it's possible the info was incorrect.  So if you're sure you can upgrade the memory, and the price is reasonable, it can only help.
