I was in the habit of hiring a caterer a few times a week to cook quality meals for my larger families in The Sims 4. The leftovers stocked in the fridge saved a ton of time. But after the most recent update, the option to hire a caterer is completely gone in all houses, in all neighborhoods! I hosted a couple of parties in an effort to hire a caterer through those options, but no caterer showed up. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Are caterers no longer part of the game? I have searched and searched with no answers...

You can hire a caterer through the stove instead with 'hire staff'. If that doesn't fix the issue, do you have any mods or custom content (CC)? Could you try taking that out.

Im having the exact same issue. Option gone from fridge and stove. Strangly I can hire a chef if I have the food bar.

I can no longer hire a caterer either from clicking on the stove or fridge. I can only hire them if I plan a social event.

I have this issue and I can hire them for parties but not from the stove or fridge and I have no mods or cc installed. I also don't have any expansion, game, or stuff packs.

You can hire a caterer through the stove instead with 'hire staff'.

Could you try taking that out.

I only just found out that i could'nt get a caterer 2 days ago. I was abit upset because it was a big rich family and i dont have the glamor pack yet so i could'nt get the butler...

Not at all or not from the fridge (that's a bug) ? Can you hire them for parties ?

To have a caterer in sims 4 you need t have a nanny for toddlers then the caterer will be the nanny does this work for you?
