What if I'm having trouble downloading the origin client?

My laptop is called acer, and I'm not sure if it's a PC or Mac, if my laptop is an acer, does that mean I can't download my purchased game? I've tried downloading many times, when it says origin clie...

An Acer is usually a Windows computer. But a Windows or a  Mac should run The Sims 4 fine.

You need to download the Origin program from origin.com (upper right hand corner).
Make sure you have this program installed, opened and logged in when you install the game.
