what is the best laptop to play sims4>

I'm looking for a laptop to play sims4 can someone point me in the right direction.. I have never owned one so maybe someone can recommend one

    @Elizabeth_3014  If I'm reading this correctly, the extended warranty is for two years and $200.  The laptop itself is covered for a year by MSI, which is more than enough time to find out about any defective parts.  MSI laptops are very well made, and I wouldn't expect normal wear and tear to do any damage in the first few years.  So unless you think you might drop the computer or otherwise break it, the extended warranty is probably not worth the money.  I didn't buy one myself for my current laptop, but then again I didn't need it for either of my previous two computers, so I felt like I'd be wasting the money.

    Anyway, it's your call.  A lot of people buy the plans for the peace of mind, but I personally think that the chance of your needing a repair worth more than $200 during the second year is pretty low.

    And I'm glad you like the laptop.  It looks like a great computer, and MSI is known for making excellent gaming laptops.

    @Elizabeth_3014  I found three laptops with the same i7-8750 processor, 16 GB RAM, and an Nvidia 1070 that are less expensive than the option you chose.  Their other details vary a bit, so take your pick.

    This is the cheapest one, at $1,380, and offers a $100 rebate as well.  It does have a smaller 15.6" screen, though with the same refresh rate, and its primary hard drive is smaller (128 GB) as well.

    This one has a 15.6" screen as well, but it's an IPS screen, rather than TN.  (TN panels can have washed out colors and tend to look distorted at odd angles, whereas IPS is considered to have the best colors and a much wider viewing angle.)  Its hard drive is only 512 GB, but it's as fast as the small 256 GB drive in the model you chose.  It's on sale for $1600.

    Finally, if you're into the 17.3" screen, this one also has an IPS panel, and 4k resolution (3820x2160).  (You could also get this model with a regular 17.3" screen, but it's only $30 cheaper.)  It has both a 512 GB SSD and a 2 TB HDD, in case you need lots of storage.  It's on sale for $1,730, with a $100 rebate offered as well.

    You should also check whether newegg charges sales tax in your state; it's kind of hit or miss.
