@faithiol Literally same!! Reintalled the game onto computer (from EA Games) and the file pathways have changed. There are no files named "Mods" or "saves" or even "cache." I was so freaked out when I saw the file pathway layout because NOTHING was actually NAMED.
It's EA Games>The Sims 4> to THIRTY EIGHT files named _Installer, Data, Delta, EP01 through to EP12, FP01, a folder named "Game"

What you are talking about is the game's installation folder. You need the game folder The Sims4, which is in the Documents
Path to this folder in Win10
Click the Windows icon in the left corner of the screen, from the list of programs that open select and click > System > choose then: "This PC" > C drive > Users > computer name or your name > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4
This folder is created when you run the game after the installation the first time.
