Where to get crystal slides?

i was doing the task and I was unable to do 2 out of the 3 tasks as the plants did not need watering nor did I have the rose. So I was left with the middle one to analyse a crystal on a telescope. So...

    To collect the crystal slides you have to place the crystal in-world then click on it and select "Collect Microscope Sample"

thank you very much. When I went back the tasks where different and was able to do them but as my game was a bit slow only got to the first part of the bar when the timer run out, but I make sure when I play next time I clear my catch.
