  • @dnabkv  All three of these laptops are massive overkill for Sims 4, capable of running anything the game could throw at them on ultra graphics settings without coming close to maxing out the hardware.  And they're also more expensive than what you'd need to spend on a laptop for Sims 4, in case that matters to you.

Price aside, I think the first one is the best option because it has a brighter, higher-resolution screen than the others, and you're going to be spending a lot of time staring at the screen.  But I personally don't think it's 400€ better than the third one.  I'd cross off the second because it's the same price as the first and doesn't have any advantages.

If you'd like to save some money and still get an excellent laptop for Sims 4, feel free to ask, and I'll look around for something more reasonably-priced.  I can check this site and any others you want, so feel free to link some others where you'd be comfortable buying.

Thank you, puzzlezaddict. I suppose I'll go for the third one then if it's not much worse than the first one. And it's cheaper too. You can try to find seomthing cheaper, if you have time, but I'd like an upgrade from my current MSI.

  • @dnabkv  This laptop is 200€ cheaper than the other MSI and has the same hardware, other than the screen size (the screens are the same quality though):

I think this one is clearly better than either MSI, with a similarly-overpowered processor and otherwise the same specs, except for a significantly better screen.  It is also a higher-tier laptop in general, with Legions being extremely well-built and well-reviewed.  It's 100€ more expensive than the MSI you found, but I would personally be happy to spend that much extra for the upgraded screen.  However, I'm not sure I'd spend 300€ extra, relative to the laptop above.

I don't know what hardware your current MSI has, but for Sims 4 at least, an RTX 4060 is still massive overkill as far as Sims 4 is concerned.  So you could drop down a tier without any effect on performance.  For example, this Legion is similar to the one above: same screen, still an overkill processor, but a 4060 and only 512 GB of storage.  That's more than enough for Sims 4, but perhaps not enough for you if you're going to install a number of other games.

I excluded laptops with a Swedish keyboard because all the ones you linked had English keyboards, but I did see a couple of cheaper options if the keyboard language doesn't matter to you.  And I didn't check other sites because I don't know where you'd want to shop, but feel free to link some for me to look at; searching only takes a few minutes for me.

If you have more questions, about these or in general, please feel free to ask.
