    @Katiardguez  Try playing in "windowed fullscreen" (i.e. Borderless) instead.  Many older games respond badly when the user alt-tabs out in fullscreen mode, which is one reason Borderless mode exists.

@Gagea25 I have checked without mods/cc numerous times that I already lost count. I always delete localthumbcache.package before launching the game and have repaired the game numerous times as well. I have done everything possible to fix this issue but so far haven't find the solution yet. The only thing left for me to do is to continue what I been doing in order not to lose any progress in the game which is to save before minimizing the game to desktop
