White screen on startup

Hello

When I start sims 4 a white screen will appear before flashing black and white 3-4 times and then remains white. I've attached a screenshot if that is any help.

So far I have tried:
Starting the game in windowed mode
Removed mods folder
Removed entire sims 4 folder from documents and restarting the game
Reinstall of sims 4
Reinstall of EA app
Graphics drivers are up to date
Tried repairing via EA app

I also purchased the Spa Day pack on the 21/10
I was able to play the game on the 22/10
From the 23/10 I have had the white screen on startup

Other packs I own: Sims 4 bonus content, Up all night digital content, Life of the party digital content, cats & dogs, city living, Discover university, get famous, get to work, holiday celebration pack, moschino stuff pack, lovestruck expansion pack, seasons, and spa day.

I am at a complete loss of what to do next
Any help would be appreciated

  • Just to make this issue more bizarre

The game has since loaded up when I tried opening it via the TS4_x64 file in the program files.
I managed to load the entire game up including creating and loading up a new town/sim
I closed the game down and tried to re-open it and now I'm back to the white screen

I did however get an error code which I've attached a screenshot of

@abzadaisy  Your dxdiag doesn't list any Sims 4-related errors, which is not entirely surprising given the initialization error.  This error is typically related to an antivirus blocking the game, so please set exceptions in your AV for TS4_x64 and TS4_Launcher_x64.  Set one for EADesktop.exe as well.

If you still can't play, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Click Windows key-r, enter perfmon /rel in the run box, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at the time of your most recent attempt to open Sims 4, specifically after setting the exceptions.  If you find one, right-click the error name and select "View technical details," then copy that information and paste it here.  The Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away, so if you don't find anything, check back in an hour or so.
