Why am I not allowed to buy the Sims 4 expansions?

I've literally tried every. single. thing. That I can think of. Reached out several times, through EA. through Klarna. No one answers me, no one helps me.

I tried my own card many times over the course of months. I tried a different card. I tried my partner's paypal. I changed my name, changed it back, changed my email, changed it back. Changed my password many times. Tried both the app and website. Contacted support, they said they "repaired my account" and to "try again but not asap". It didn't work. Contacted support again, they offered no solution but "check out this page with error messages". This obviously did nothing. They "forwarded my complaint, but there will be no contact". I talked to Klarna who offers their payment services, they also do not know anything "since no order has been placed".

I have never met a company so hellbent on not accepting my money lol. I just want an expansion pack and at this point it's getting so ridiculous that I'm not able to pay with a normal ah Visa card that I want an answer.

Literally the only way I can acquire an expansion pack now is through redeeming a pack's code in the EA app.

I do not want to go on a scavenger hunt, and I do not want to be forced into a Pay Later-solution for a simple expansion pack that hardly costs 200 NOK at the moment.

It seems to be a "time out" for the payment that seems to happen when it's supposed to activate my BankID log in to verify my account with the bank, this doesn't show up though, an error message (see attached) comes up instead.

Please provide me with any help? The support team can't, but maybe the community can.
