Why are some interactions not showing up?

When I try to interact with the other sims in the neighbourhood, I don't get any interactions (apart from those from my mods). With I interact with other family members, I get some interactions. Also, I can only call the family to the meal using my teenager. This happens with ALL my families. I previously downloaded some stuff but now I have removed them. I think. But I don't think that the problem is with my mods, since they worked fine before. The 'repair' option on origin isn't there. 

Please help!

    @abstractpiggy 

    Do you have any Mods or CC? If so move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
