Why can't I toggle the cheats window in The Sims 4?

This wasn't a problem until the recent update. I updated all my mods and I still don't get it. Please help. This is so frustrating

@KAYLANDA You mean ctl-shift-c doesn't open the cheat console ?

nothing happens at all. it's like i never did it all

Have you tried a clean boot ?

https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

If it works in that mode, then it's a background program interfering and you will need to find out which one.
